Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA was officially inaugurated as the Rector of Universitas Trisakti for 2023 – 2028. The inauguration ceremony took place on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at the 12th floor of Building M, Campus A, Universitas Trisakti. Several specially invited guests witnessed the inauguration procession of Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA as the Rector of Universitas Trisakti, including Noviyanto, ST, MMSI, representing the Head of the General Section of the Higher Education Services Institution Region III Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Toni Toharudin S.Si, MSc, Chairman of the Trisakti Foundation, Dr. Lukman, ST, M.Hum, the President Director of BPJS Kesehatan, who also served as the Rector of Universitas Trisakti for the 2016 – 2021 period, Prof. Dr. Ali Ghufron Mukti, MSc, PhD, Chairman of the Trisakti Foundation Board, Prof Ainun Naim PhD, Chairman of the Senate of Universitas Trisakti, Prof. Dr. Dr. Pusparini, Sp. PK, and the Vice-Rector of the Faculties, as well as the leadership team of Universitas Trisakti, Trisakti Educational Units, and university partners.

The inauguration event began with the reading of the Decision Letter of the Trisakti Foundation by Prof. Dr. Elfrida Ratnawati Gultom, S.H., M.Hum.,M.Kn., the Head of the Human Resources Administration Bureau of Universitas Trisakti. In the Decision Letter of the Trisakti Foundation with the number: KPTS/148/YTS/10/2023 regarding the Appointment of the Rector of Universitas Trisakti for the 2023-2028 period, the Trisakti Foundation respectfully terminated the position of Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA, as the Acting Rector of Universitas Trisakti for the 2021-2023 period and appointed Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA as the Rector of Universitas Trisakti for the period 2023-2028. The decision of the Trisakti Foundation is effective from the date of the inauguration, which is December 13, 2023.

The event then proceeded with the Oath-Taking Ceremony of the Rector of Universitas Trisakti led by Prof Ainun Naim PhD, the Chairman of the Trisakti Foundation Board. Subsequently, the Rector of Universitas Trisakti signed the Handover of Duty and Integrity Pact, followed by the bestowal of the Rector’s Office Insignia by the Chairman of the Trisakti Foundation Board. The inauguration ceremony concluded with a group photo and congratulatory remarks from the invited guests to the new Rector of Universitas Trisakti.

After the event, in a brief interview, Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA outlined five visions and missions that will be implemented during his five-year leadership term.

“The first is that we will update the existing strategic plan because the environment has changed, so the strategic plan also needs to be renewed. The second is to enhance Universitas Trisakti participation in the National Movement of Literacy and Numeracy (MBKM). The third is to strengthen internationalization because internationalization is an effort to enhance our reputation on the global stage,” said Prof. Kadarsah.

In addition, Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA also emphasized his commitment to strengthen both physical and digital infrastructure.

“Fourth, we will strengthen infrastructure by building a hospital in Nagrak and continue to beautify the campus in Grogol, and not forgetting to enhance digital infrastructure. Finally, we will strengthen sustainability,” concluded Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA.
