The Faculty of Economics and Business at Usakti, in Collaboration with Toyota Motor Corporation, Organized a Public Lecture: Digital Transformation with Toyota
This motivational workshop opened doors for Usakti students to realize their potential in the field of technology, particularly in the automotive industry. Mr. Sunji Miyahara, the Project General Manager of the Digital Transformation Promotion Department at Toyota Motor Corporation Japan, delivered the public lecture. He emphasized Toyota’s strong commitment to implementing digital technology for business improvement. The company aims to share its experiences and knowledge with Universitas Trisakti students, preparing them to confront the challenges of digital transformation in the professional world.
In that workshop, Toyota discussed the importance of adaptation to the change of technology in the automotive industry and how the students could prepare to be a part of this digital revolution. They also emphasize the importance of skills like programming, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and other related technologies that can be key to entering a workforce that is increasingly connected to technology.
This workshop was a collaborative effort between FEB Usakti and Toyota Motor Corporation, Japan. It took place on December 1st, 2023, and was inaugurated by Vice Dean IV of FEB Usakti, Prof. Dr. Asep Hermawan, M.Sc. The event was also attended by Dr. Luki A. Pratomo, MM., the Head of the International Class Program, Dra. RR. Dyah Astarini, MBA., the Head of Program Unggulan FEB Usakti, along with other lecturers and students from FEB Usakti.
As part of the workshop, market research activities were conducted, including simulations, a car clinic, and interviews aimed at understanding the preferences of the younger generation regarding automotive products, particularly four-wheel transportation (cars). Students exhibited enthusiasm in participating in these activities as they provided valuable experiences related to the implementation of effective marketing research.
