The 58th commemoration of Usakti’s Anniversary at FTI was enlivened by a scholarly event in the form of a Seminar and Clinic on Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) technology for the entire academic community at Usakti, especially those with backgrounds in Engineering and Design. The seminar, held on November 30, 2023, by one of the units at FTI Usakti, namely TEC (Trisakti Engineering Center), was attended by 160 participants, both physically present in the FTI Usakti Auditorium and virtually through the Zoom channel. The seminar featured presentations by 5 professionals from 3 CAE vendors: Altair, Ansys, and Nastran.

Meanwhile, the clinic activities in the TEC room on the 4th floor of the FG building aimed to provide free consultations to students, lecturers, and professionals, especially alumni, regarding problem-solving in engineering practices, particularly in the use of CAE software tools. The clinic was open from November 30, 2023, until December 8, 2023.

Hopefully, with these activities, the knowledge and skills of students, lecturers, and alumni in carrying out more reliable and superior engineering practices will continue to improve.
