On October 25, 2023, the Industrial Technology Department Universitas Trisakti sent 5 teams to participate in the 2023 Preliminary International Statistics Competition for Engineering Students (ISCE) online. The Team that qualified for the Main Competition is the Manufer Team, consisting of Kim See Yuun (063.20.025), Idelia Rauli Rebecca (063.20.043), and Tryantomo Lokhilmahful Palgunadi (063.20.056) from the class of 2020.

The Main Competition ISCE 2023 was held for two days, on November 22-23, 2023, at Universitas Katolik Parahyangan, Bandung. This competition was attended by 17 teams, with each team consisting of 3 members.

Series of events:

1. Betting and Quiz Round

Date: November 22, 2023 (08.00 – 18.45 WIB) and November 23, 2023 (07.30 – 18.00 WIB)

The Betting round involves 15 questions with initial points of 200 for each team. The team can bet points in multiple of 10. The right answer will get 5 bonus points, while non-participation results in a 20-point deduction. The Manufer Team managed to qualify with a total of 280 points.

2. Quiz Round

Date: November 23, 2023

The Quiz round is divided into 3 sessions, each with 4 teams. The Manufer Team managed to advance to the final stage after gaining 225 points in the third session.

3. Final Round

The final stage involves providing a case study, case study work, and presentation with a question-answer session. The Manufer Team from Universitas Trisakti finished fifth place in the ISCE 2023.

The Manufer Team from Universitas Trisakti gave an awesome performance in ISCE 2023. This success is a proud achievement for the Industrial Engineering Department, Universitas Trisakti in the international statistics competition.
