Public test of candidates for the sexual violence prevention and handling task force held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Seminar Room, 12th Floor, M Building Campus A Universitas Trisakti. As a procedure that must be carried out during the selection stage, the candidates consisting of 3 educational staff, 5 lecturers, and 7 active students will be assessed for their understanding of sexual violence. This selection also invited Dr.Andi Widiatno H., M.H., C.TA., C.MED, a lecturer from the Faculty of Law Universitas Trisakti, and Dr. Maria Ulfah Anshor, M, Si as Commissioner of the Woman National Committee as a resource person in discussion session and panel team.

This event opened by Vice-Rector III Universitas Trisakti, Ir. Yoska Oktaviano, MT. He said that sexual violence prevention on campus needs to be done.

“Universitas Trisakti will participate in implementing the policy conveyed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) Republik Indonesia which 2021 already released a Permendikbudriset No. 30, 2021 about the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence in Higher Education,” Said Ir. Yoska Oktaviano, MT.

In order to select the team that will be responsible for taking action and handling the sexual violence in Usakti, a public test or this interview started with a report from the head of the PPKS task force, Raflis, ST, MT. In that activity, the candidate has the opportunity to present their visions and goals. They are also required to respond to the questions from the panel during the question and answer session. This task force is Universitas Trisakti’s commitment to fostering a campus life that is humane, dignified, inclusive, collaborative, and without sexual violence between students, educators, education staff, and campus residents at universities.
